EXAMS

Our first 2 terms are spent working on exam content. We offer exams in Jazz, Ballet and Ballet Pointe.

We apply for our exam date with NZAMD.

The exam is not compulsory, but we do recommend giving it a go. It is a great pathway to develop dancers and their quality of movement. Students who work in the classes are eligible to move to the next level if they don't sit the exam, as we will hold an in-class assessment.

FEES

• Exam fees are additional to Term Fees and are non-refundable

• There are no extras added to exam fees and they are paid directly to NZAMD

• The Exam fee cost goes up per grade level. This is set by NZAMD

• Examiners travel from around NZ to adjudicate

• We offer extra workshop classes for each grade at $10.00 per class

• Mock exams are at no extra charge

• NZAMD jazz and ballet classes require a specific exam uniform

UNIFORMS

Our Jazz exam uniform is available to purchase through our online store. We do stock second hand uniforms and jazz shoes, however please email info@redstudio.co.nz as sizes do vary. Our ballet uniform is sourced directly from our NZ supplier so please email for orders.
